NEW DELHI: Mediascope Publicitas, the Swiss based media consultancy major, has appointed Gourav Tandon as chief operating officer for its newly launched out-of-home (OOH) vertical. Tandon is armed with over 14 years of professional experience in the OOH media business, which includes printing, signages, acquisition and media sales, besides planning and buying. He began his career with GMS Technologies, and then went on to work with agencies such as MOMS, Aaren Initiative, Ogilvy, Clear Channel India and more recently Navia Asia.
Tandon has worked on national brands like LG, Emaar MGF, Voltas, Michelin Tyres, Yamaha, Sony Ericsson, Panasonic, among others.
Commenting on the appointment, Robin Carruthers, managing director, Mediascope Publicitas OOH, said, " In keeping with our commitment of building one of the best outdoor companies in India over the next few years, we will hire the best talent in the industry. In Gourav we see the necessary skill sets and leadership qualities that will help towards achieving our goal."
