LUCKNOW: OOH has huge potential in the state of Uttar Pradesh. Stating this, Rajneesh Rawat, managing director, Origins Advertising, said the extensive geographical spread, a large number of Tier 2 & 3 cities and a large working population make Uttar Pradesh an important outdoor advertising destination.
He pointed out that many leading brands like LG, Tanishq, Madura Garments and others record a higher percentage of their sales from Uttar Pradesh. For the outdoor industry, the challenge lies in attracting a higher share of the ad spend. This would call for the enhancement of the value of media formats available in the state, he said.
Rawat emphasised the need for the outdoor industry to observe the ethical principles while doing business. “It would be equally important for the industry to educate its clients about the different facets of the business,” he said.
Uttar Pradesh as the second largest state economy in the country will continue to be a key destination for mass brands as well as premium offerings.
