NEW DELHI: Mediascope Publicitas OOH has been on a hiring spree to support its expanding operations in key markets. The firm has brought on board Sherman Colaco as AVP and Shakira Sayed as general manager. Both Colaco and Sayed will work out of the Mumbai office.
Welcoming the senior OOH professionals on board, Gourav Tandon, COO, Mediascope Publicitas OOH, told network2media that the team expansion is in tandem with the firm’s growing business across the country, and in particular the Mumbai and rest of west market.
“It is important that we bring the best people on board to meet our client needs,” he added.
Colaco brings with him 14 years experience in the OOH domain. He has worked with organisations like Selvel-Vantage Group, Primesite, Ogilvy Landscapes, MOMS, Portland and Mudra MAX.
Over these years, he has handled top brands like Standard Chartered Bank, Axis Bank, Sony Entertainment, AXN, Playwin Infravest, UltraTech Cement, Tata Indicom, Barclays Bank, Colors, HLL and Zee Group.
Colaco views the new role as an opportunity to take up a fresh challenge and become a part of an agency that he reckons will be the most sought after in the OOH space.
Sayed brings on board 10 years of experience in the OOH industry. She began her career with Icon Ad Network and then moved to Laqshya Media where she worked for over eight years. Sayed’s last appointment was with Clear Channel Mumbai Pvt Ltd where she was designated as AGM – sales. She has handled national campaigns for clients like South Africa Tourism, Shopper’s Stop, Platinum Guild International, Parle Products and John Players (ITC Lifestyle).
Mediascope Publicitas OOH has also expanded its Delhi team with Saurabh Uppal coming on board. Uppal has the experience of servicing Uninor UP – West region when he worked with Navia Asia, North.
