GSRTCAHMEDABAD: The Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) has invited bids under the ‘three-envelope’ system to select advertising agencies for displaying advertisements through all type of panels, advertisement boards, hoardings etc. on bus stations, pickup stands, compound walls etc. The contract will be awarded for a period of two years. The earnest money deposit (EMD) required is Rs. 10 lakh.

The sites and open spaces being offered for displaying advertisements will include 4245 sign board spaces, 1966 hoarding spaces, 1563 pickup stands, 127 permanent bus stands, 124 temporary bus stands, 124 depots, 16 divisional workshops, 15 divisional offices, 11 open spaces, 16 other places such as colonies etc. at the divisional level and 1 central workshop.

Under the terms, the total upset value of the contract is Rs. 7 crore.

To be eligible for the contract, the applicants should be registered in India under the companies act or as an individual firm or as an individual agency for at least three years as on July 21, 2011 and should not be blacklisted by any government authority in India.

Applicants should have a minimum annual turnover of Rs. 5 crore for the last three financial years.

Applicants will have to submit the EMD in the form of a demand draft or bank guarantee issued by a nationalised or scheduled bank having a branch in Ahmedabad. The demand draft should be in favour of Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation, payable at Ahmedabad.

Interested agencies can download the RFP document from the website upto July 21, 2011.

Applicants will have to submit a tender fee of Rs. 5,500 in cash or through a demand draft or banker’s cheque issued by a nationalised or scheduled bank, drawn in favour of “Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation”, payable at Ahmedabad along with the bids.

The applicants will have to submit their offers in three parts namely, pre-qualification bid, technical bid and commercial bid and in the specified formats.

Applicants will have to submit the commercial bids online only. The pre-qualification and technical bids are to be submitted both online and in hard copy along with the requisite documents before the last date and time of bid submission.

The hard copies can be submitted to the office of the chief traffic and commercial manager, GSRTC central office, Vahan Vyavahar bhawan, Ahmadabad - 380 022 upto 2pm on July 21, 2011.

The tenders will be opened on the same day at 3pm.
