NEW DELHI: Client retention is one of the most critical aspects in any business. Specially in the effervescent, volatile and rapidly evolving Out-of-Home media domain. Therefore, it is quite obvious that the Aircel-US Adcom relationship entering its fifth consecutive year is a very significant achievement.
The association started in July 2008 with the outdoor advertising responsibility for the Kolkata and rest of West Bengal circles of the telecom major, being vested with US Adcom.
Thereafter, in December 2008, five additional circles, namely, Delhi, UP-East, UP-West, Assam and North East were bagged by the agency.
In March 2009, Delhi witnessed one of the biggest telecom launches in the city with 3 consecutive high impact Neon displays being deployed at the premium location of South Extension.Biggest. Thereafter, the UP launch was executed in April 2009.
The Bihar circle was added to the agency's kitty in September 2009. And in 2010, the agency was given the outdoor advertising duties of 6 more circles consisting of J&K, Orrisa, HP, Punjab, Rajasthan and Haryana.
The Punjab launch happened in August 2010 and Rajasthan launch followed in October 2010.
Commenting on the association, various initiatives, and the achievement of extending the relationship to its fifth year, a delighted US Sharma, managing director, US Adcom, said, "The journey of US Adcom started with brand Aircel on a promising note of meticulous planning and execution ensuring each single step to be perfect and mutually rewarding.
"Now when we are entering the fifth year of relationship and we have realised that this is being appreciated all over the industry and have motivated many such journeys to commence", he added.
