SBIAHMEDABAD: State Bank of India (SBI), local head office, Ahmedabad has invited offers under the ‘two-bid’ system from interested vendors and outdoor agencies for hiring hoarding sites at various locations in Gujarat state.

The cities specified for hiring these hoardings include Ahmedabad, Anand, Ankleshwar, Amreli, Vadodara, Bhavnagar, Bharuch, Dahod, Daman, Gandhidham, Gandhinagar, Godhra, Himatnagar, Jamnagar, Junagadh, Mehsana, Morbi, Nadiad, Navsari, Porbandar, Patan, Palanpur, Rajkot, Surendranagar, Surat, Silvasa, Valsad, Vapi, Vyara and various pilgrimage centers including Dwarka, Somnath Veraval, Ambaji, Dakor, Pawagath, Shamlaji, Bahucharaji, Matana Madh (Kutch), Modhera-Sun Temple, Sasan–Gir, Palitana, Mahudi , Chotila, Vadtal and Umiyamata Temple at Unza (Mehsana).

The applicants can submit bids for all or any of the cities mentioned above.

The eligibility criteria specify that the applicants should have a minimum turnover of Rs. 5 crore for the offer of hoarding sites in the four cities of Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat and Rajkot.

The eligibility criteria specify that the applicants should have minimum turnover of Rs. 50 lakh for the offer of hoarding sites at other cities.

Applicants will have to submit a pay order or demand draft, drawn in favour of State Bank of India, payable at Ahmedabad towards the earnest money deposit (EMD) of Rs. 50,000/- for hoarding site(s) at any of the four cities Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat and Rajkot and Rs. 25,000 for any of the site(s) at other than four cities.

Applicants will be charged a tender form fee of Rs. 2,000 for the offer of hoarding site(s) at any of the four cities Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat and Rajkot and Rs. 1,000 for any of the site(s) at other cities.

The tender form can be obtained from the office of the chief manager PR&CSB, State Bank of India, fifth floor, LHO Building, Lal Darwaja, Ahmedabad during office hours on payment of the requisite tender fee through a pay order or demand draft, drawn in favour of State Bank of India, payable at Ahmedabad.

The tender form can also be downloaded from the website. In this case, the tender fee as the case may be, will have to be submitted along with the technical bid.

The Technical and the price bids should be submitted in separate sealed covers. Cover containing the technical bid should be super scribed as ‘SBI - offer for hoarding sites, 2012 - Technical Bid’. Cover containing price bid should be super scribed as ‘SBI – offer for hoarding sites, 2012 - price bid’. The technical bid and the price bid should be packed in a third cover super scribed as ‘SBI – offer for hoarding sites, 2012’.

Duly completed bids should be submitted to the chief manager (public relations & CSB), State Bank of India, fifth floor, LHO building, Lal Darwaja, Ahmedabad – 380 001 latest by 4pm on March 19, 2012.
