PATNA: The Bihar State Road Transport Corporation (BSRTC) has invited bids under the 'two-packet' system from reputed and experienced agencies for displaying advertisements on a wide variety of BSRTC buses and on hoardings at bus terminals/stands. The earnest money deposit (EMD) required is Rs. 20,000.

The bids are invited for the following two categories for different divisions namely Patna, Bhagalpur, Gaya, Muzaffarpur, Darbhanga, Purnea and Chhapra:

Category I - Advertising on around 400 BSRTC buses of Patna, Bhagalpur, Gaya, Muzaffarpur, Darbhanga, Purnea and Chhapra divisions. The agencies will have to quote division wise rates for taking exclusive rights for putting up advertisements for a period of two years. The size 20' X 3' on both sides & 6' X 2' on the rear side will be allowed for the advertisements to be displayed on the bus bodies.

Category II - Advertising at various bus terminals/stands all over the state. The agencies will have to quote division wise rates for taking exclusive rights for putting up hoardings of 15' X 20' size or less in each of the specified bus terminals/stands for a period of two years. The division-wise tentative number of hoardings is given in the table below:

The financial bids for each of the categories mentioned above will have to be submitted separately along with a common technical bid.

The EMD will have to be deposited through a demand draft drawn in favour of the chief accounts officer, Bihar State Road Transport Corporation. The demand draft should be payable at Patna.

Tender forms duly complete in all respect should be submitted in the office of Stores and Purchase, Bihar State Road Transport Corporation. Pariwahan bhawan, Birchand patel path, Patna latest by 3pm on April 20, 2012.

The tenders will be opened at 3.30pm on the same day.
