NAGPUR: The Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) has invited tenders from reputed and experienced parties through the e-tendering process for construction and maintenance of public utilities at prominent locations in the city on BOT (build-operate-transfer) basis in lieu of advertisement rights. The contract will be awarded for a period of twenty years. The earnest money deposit (EMD) required for this tender is Rs. 2 lakh.

To be eligible for the contract, applicants should have adequate experience in similar field.

Applicants will have to submit the EMD through a demand draft or banker’s cheque from any nationalised or scheduled bank favouring the estate officer, NMC, Nagpur, payable at Nagpur.

Tender documents costing Rs. 3,300 can be obtained from the NMC office up to 1.30pm on May 10, 2012. Tender documents can also be downloaded from the website.

Duly completed technical bids will have to be submitted to the estate officer, Nagpur Municipal Corporation, Nagpur latest by 3pm on May 11, 2012 as well as online, whereas the financial bids will have to be submitted online only.

The tenders will be opened on the same day at 4pm.
