NEW DELHI: Media 24x7 has further consolidated their presence in Dehradun by bagging a major contract securing exclusive advertising rights on 134 unipoles all over the city. This win firmly places the company in a leadership position in the outdoor advertising market of Dehradun. The company has won these rights for a period of one year, extendable by another year.
The tender had generated keen interest among the outdoor media owners and was hotly contested. Media 24X7 won the contract in the face of stiff competition from reputed companies such as, Selvel Media, Engee Media, Media Professional, Stimulus Advertising,, Royal Art, Color Art, Color Catalyst, Uttaranchal Signage etc.
These unipoles are 20' X 10' in size and approximately half of them are lit. They are located at key areas across Dehradun city such as Rajpur Road (Clock tower via assembly hall via Dilaram Chowk upto Mussoorie diversion); Nr. Clock Tower (Prince Chowk to Darshan Lal Chowk upto Clock tower); Chakrata road (Clock Tower via Capri Complex, Bindal Bridge, Doon School, Kishan Nagar Chowk to Ballupur Chowk); Saharanpur Road (Mohobewala to ISBT, Niranjanpur Sabji Mandi, Lal Pull upto Railway station and GMS Road (Ballupur Chowk to Balliwala chowk upto Kamla Palace).
It may be noted that Media 24X7 has been in the forefront of the battle against illegal roof top hoardings which have been banned in the city of Dehradun. In the light of this development, unipoles become further attractive as legal advertising options.
Commenting on this bid win, an elated Rajendra Kumar, CEO, Media 24X7, said, "We are extremely happy to have procured these rights. With this, we will be able to offer composite solutions and better value to our clients in the city.”
It is pertinent to mention here that Media 24X7 also holds the exclusive advertising rights of the Dehradun ISBT.
