N Rail offers 3-yr composite ad-rights at Varanasi station and adjoining areas

LUCKNOW: Northern Railway has invited sealed open tenders from advertising agencies for awarding 3-year ad-rights for displaying advertisements on glow signs, boards and kiosks at Varanasi station and adjoining areas for a period of three years, approximately covering a total display space of 16,283 sq. ft. The reserve price for the first year for Varanasi station area is Rs. 33,27,130 and for the adjoining areas it is Rs. 16,35,600. The earnest money deposit (EMD) required is 10 percent of the offered value.

As per the tender notice, the total display space being offered for Varanasi station area is 7,883 sq. ft (5,821 sq. ft glow signs and 2,062 sq. ft for boards) and for the adjoining areas, a total of 8,400 sq. ft (1,600 sq. ft for glow signs and 6,800 sq. ft for hoardings) display space is being offered.

Further, a total of 135 kiosks are being offered for display of advertisements at Varanasi station area. The standard size of each kiosk will be 40” X 30”.

The two locations mentioned above i.e. Varanasi station area and adjoining areas are being treated as separate tenders. Applicants will have to submit separate tenders foe each location.

Applicants will have to submit the EMD through a demand draft or FDR from any nationalised bank drawn in favour of the Sr. divisional finance manager, Northern Railway, Lucknow along with the bids.

Tender documents can be purchased from the commercial branch of the DRM office on any working day up to 12 noon of May 28, 2012 on payment of Rs. 5,000.

Tender documents can also be downloaded from the website. In this case, applicants will have to submit the tender document cost through a demand draft, drawn in favour of the Sr. divisional finance manager, Northern Railway, Lucknow along with the bids.

Duly completed tenders will have to be dropped in the specified tender box kept in the commercial branch of the divisional railway manager, Northern Railway, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh latest by 2pm on May 28, 2012.

Tenders will be opened on the same day at 3pm.
