 GULBARGA: The North Eastern Karnataka Road Transport Corporation, Gulbarga has invited e-tenders under the ‘two-cover’ system for construction of eight modern bus shelters at Gulbarga city. The earnest money deposit (EMD) required for this tender is Rs. 1,96,800.
The eligibility criteria specify that the applicants should have registered as KPWD class I civil contractor in Karnataka CPWD/MES and KPWD and should have adequate experience in similar field.
Applicants should have successfully completed at least one work of similar nature, a single work costing at least Rs. 49.20 lakh from April 1, 2007 onwards for any of the government or pubic sector undertaking.
Applicants should have achieved an annual financial turnover of Rs.98.40 lakh pertaining to civil works in any of two of the preceding five financial years.
Bidders will have to pay the EMD and the applicable tender processing fee online through e-payment using any of the following four modes:
a) Credit Card, b) Direct Debit, c) National Electronic Fund Transfer (NEFT), d) Over the counter (OTC) - at designated axis bank branches located across the country.

A pre-bid meeting will be held on May 22, 2012 at 11am.
Duly completed tender forms will have to be submitted online on or before 4pm on May 25, 2012.
The tenders will be opened at 11am on May 29, 2012.
