AAI offers 3-yr ad rights inside terminal building at Guwahati Airport

AAIGUWAHATI: Airports Authority of India (AAI) has invited bids through e-tendering for awarding sole advertisement rights inside the terminal building at LGBI airport, Guwahati. The total advertising space being offered is 421.17 sq. m to display of advertisements through glow signs and show cases. The contract will be awarded for a period of three years.

Parties having a minimum of three years experience in the advertisement display business at transportation centers like airports, seaports, railways as whole, bus terminals including bus shelters and public places will be eligible for participation.

In addition, the parties should have minimum annual gross turnover of Rs. 6.84 crore in any of the last five financial years, out of which, 50 percent of GTO should be from advertisement display business only.

The minimum reserve license fee specified for the contract is Rs. 57 lakh per month, with an earnest money deposit (EMD) of Rs. 20.52 lakh. In addition, from the second year onwards, the license fee will be subject to 10 percent annually compounded escalation.

Applicants will have to furnish the EMD through RTGS in favour of Airports Authority of India, - Name of Bank - State Bank of India, branch - Borjhar, Guwahati, A/C no. 30854418615, MICR code no. 781002013 and IFSC code - SBIN0003776. A copy of the receipt of the payment made has to be uploaded along with the technical bids.

Tender documents indicating full details of the licence will be available online up to 3.30pm of May 24, 2012. Applicants will have to pay the tender document fee of Rs.15,000 through payment gateway provided by HFDC for making payment through credit cards.

Duly completed tenders complete in all respect containing technical bid along with the financial bid (separately) should be uploaded online through e-tendering latest by 3pm on May 25, 2012.
The technical bids will be opened on the same day at 3.30pm.
