AMRITSAR: The Airports Authority of India (AAI) has invited tenders under the 'two-bid' system through e-tendering for awarding advertisement rights inside the terminal building (2,249 sq. ft) through contract 1 and outside the terminal building (7,860 sq. ft) through contract 2 at Sri Guru Ram Dass Jee international airport, Amritsar. The contracts will be awarded for a period of three years. The earnest money deposit (EMD) required is Rs. 11,38,913.
The minimum reserve license fee is Rs. 31,63,648 per month, out of which, Rs. Rs.11,51,488 has been kept for inside terminal and Rs. 20,12,160 has been kept for outside terminal building. The license fee will be subject to 10 percent annually compounded escalation from the second year onward.
Applicants will have to quote separately for inside (indoor advertisement) and outside (outdoor advertisement) terminal building media wise.
To be eligible for the contract, applicants should have experience in the advertisement display business at transportation centres like airports, sea ports, railways, metro rail stations for at least three years.
Applicants should have a minimum annual gross turnover of Rs. 3,79,63,776 in any of the last five financial years, out of which, at least 50 percent should be from the advertisement display business.
Applicants will have to submit the EMD in the form of a pay order or demand draft drawn in favour of the AAI, payable at Amritsar. along with the bids. The scanned copy of the EMD instrument should be uploaded online and the original copy in a sealed envelope should be submitted to the manager (commercial), o/o airport director, Airports Authority of India, Sri Guru Ram Dass Jee international airport, Amritsar.
Tender documents indicating full details of the license can be downloaded from the website. The cost of e-tender fee amounting to Rs. 15,000 will have to be paid online through HDFC payment gateway.
The tender documents will be available up to 5pm on June 6, 2012.
Duly completed tenders should be submitted online through e-tendering latest by 3pm on June 7, 2012.
Technical bids will be opened on the same day at 3.30pm.
