 FARIDABAD: The Municipal Corporation, Faridabad, has invited sealed tenders under the ‘three-envelope’ system from interested parties for construction of 172 bus queue shelters through contract-1 and 3 FOBs through contract-2 and awarding advertisement rights on them on BOT basis. The duration of contracts will be 20 years and 10 years respectively. The respective earnest money deposits (EMD) are Rs. 15 lakh and Rs. 5 lakh.
The eligibility criteria specify that the applicants should have experience of running or managing similar kind of advertisement projects.
Applicants should have an annual average turnover of at least Rs. 5 crore for contract-1 and Rs. 1 crore for contract-2 in the last three years and should have a minimum net worth of Rs. 10 crore for contract-1 and Rs. 2 crore for contract-2.
Under the terms, the period of construction of these FOBs will be four months from the date of signing of the agreement, or four months fifteen days from the date of issue of LOA, whichever is earlier.
Interested parties can obtain the tender documents along with complete details from the office of Municipal Corporation, Faridabad on any working day up to August 23, 2012, on payment of Rs. 10,000 through a demand draft, drawn in favour of the commissioner, Municipal Corporation of Faridabad, payable at Faridabad.
The tender documents can also be downloaded from the website. In this case, applicants will have to submit the document cost through a demand draft drawn in favour of the commissioner, Municipal Corporation of Faridabad, payable at Faridabad along with the bids.
Applicants will have to submit the EMD through a demand draft or pay order, drawn in favour of the commissioner, Municipal Corporation Faridabad, payable at Faridabad, along with the bids.
Applicants will have to submit the duly completed tenders to the office of the chief engineer, Municipal Corporation, Faridabad - 121 001 latest by 3pm on August 23, 2012.
The technical bids will be opened on the same day at 3.30pm.
