 BANGALURU: The Directorate of Advertising and Visual Publicity (DAVP) invites offers from outdoor advertising agencies for display of hoardings on rented sites in all districts of the Karnataka state. The displays are to be located at prominent locations like important junctions, busy thoroughfares and residential colonies of towns and district headquarters.
The eligibility criteria specify that the applicant agencies should have a minimum billing of Rs. 50 lakh per annum for ‘A’ class cities, Rs. 30 lakh per annum for ‘B’ class cities and Rs. 20 lakh per annum for ‘C’ class cities and rural areas.
Applicant agencies should have been functioning for at least five years in the particular outdoor media.
Applicant agencies should either have its own workshop or should have arrangements with other workshops for getting the work of the hoardings and banners done.
Applicant agencies should have authorized access to at least 50 sites in ‘A’ class cities, 30 sites in ‘B’ class cities, 20 sites in ‘C’ class cities and should have the capacity to display at least 100 hoardings throughout the state or state capital at a time.
Applicant agencies will have to furnish a photo copy of the letter of their empanelment with DAVP along with the bids.
Under the terms, the sites would be chosen by DAVP according to its specifications. Primarily, the size specified is 10ft x 20ft, however, this may vary as per the specific requirement at the time of display.
The hoardings will be on a monthly rental basis and the charges will be paid by DAVP after the expiry of each month of display.
Duly completed tenders should reach the regional office, Directorate of Advertising and Visual Publicity, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, C Wing, Ground Fl, Kendriya Sadan, Karamangala, Bangaluru – 560 034 latest by 3pm on August 23, 2012.
The tenders will be opened on the same day at 3:30pm.
