Platinum Outdoor unveils newgen Samsung smartphones in the outdoor
 Platinum Outdoor has executed the outdoor campaign for Samsung’s new generation smartphones ‘WAVE’ and ‘Galaxy S’. The one-month campaign has been targeted at SEC A. Hence, the displays are largely concentrated at airports and premium malls.
Percept launches Percept Activ to wrest large share of burgeoning activation market
 Percept Activ, headed by Sanjay Shukla, COO, will focus on brand activation projects that include below-the-line brand communication activities encompassing promotional activation and event-based activation. The activation arm aims for 25 percent share of the Rs 1,000 activation market by 2012.
East Coast Rail offers ad-rights for 12,900 sq. ft display space
 East Coast Railway has invited sealed tenders under the 'two-packet' system for awarding advertisement display rights at seven railway stations of Khurda road division. These rights are being offered for hoardings, glow signs and ordinary boards. A total of 12,900 sq. ft of display space is being offered. The contract shall be awarded for a period of three years.

 DOOH aggregator Adcentricity maintains that the DOOH market, including advertising opportunities on kiosks such as those offered by EntertainmentXpress, is being driven in a very positive direction.
CTU Chandigarh invites bids for ad-rights on hoarding and glow signs
 The Chandigarh Transport Undertaking (CTU) has invited offers in two parts -'Technical bid' and 'Price bid', offering ad-rights on hoardings, glow signa and boards at ISBT, Sector-17, Chandigarh. These rights are being offered for a period of one year. The earnest money deposit (EMD) required is Rs. 1 lakh. Last date for submitting offers is September 24, 2010.
